Hiking around Bunkers

A few weeks ago, the family of Ella's friend Blix invited us to go on a hike through the forest and around some old bunkers. (These are the same people we went on the crazy sled ride with.) This was a much better time. The weather looked amazing...but of course was still cold in the forest.

But the girls had a blast. We got to walk around old bunkers and massive guns that were used during WWII. The girls could climb down in one bunker and come up 100 yards or more away out of another hole. They had a blast. Then the trail from the forest lead out to the sea. I LOVE living close to the sea. I love that we can just walk on the beach. I love seeing and hearing waves. It's amazing. So all in all...it was a fun day. :)
